Lake Forest Schools announced that the Lake Forest High School Foundation (LFHS) awarded four new grants and one standing grant on Grant Day, March 14, 2025. The announcement was made in a press release.

According to Lake Forest Schools, the LFHS awarded four new grants and renewed one existing grant, in addition to funding two out-of-cycle grants earlier this year. This brings the total investment in educational initiatives to $118,000.

The LFHS provides funding for educational initiatives at Lake Forest High School through grants supporting students, faculty, and staff. Since 2002, the foundation has awarded over 290 grants totaling more than $2.2 million for projects such as Makerspace, Business Incubator, and 21st-century learning labs. It works with teachers, students, and administrators to review grant applications and allocate resources. Funding is supported by community donations, local business partnerships, and events like the annual spring luncheon. Grants have contributed to technology upgrades, collaborative learning spaces, and various academic and extracurricular programs at the school.
