FLT/FAN announces virtual creative writing event featuring NYT bestselling poet

The Free Library of Throckmorton (FLT) and the Free Area Network (FAN) are hosting a virtual event on creative writing scheduled for April 9, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

Smith is an NYT bestselling poet, writer, editor, and teacher. The program is designed to benefit individuals who write, those who attempt to write, or anyone considering embarking on writing.

The session will focus on breaking down creativity into ten elements and providing writing prompts for exploration. It is particularly recommended for teens and young adults.
