Jacklyn Gocke serves as a School Psychologist and Mental Health Interventionist at Orchard Park Academy, now in her sixth year with Westminster Public Schools (WPS). Her association with WPS began seven years ago during her school psychology internship at Hodgkins Leadership Academy.

Originally from Las Vegas, Gocke relocated to Colorado at 18 to attend the University of Denver, where she completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees through consecutive programs.

Settled in Westminster, Gocke is building a life with her husband and anticipating the arrival of their baby boy this June. She notes that the name choice will be meaningful.

In her current role as a school psychologist, Gocke also mentors school psychology interns by providing clinical supervision during their third-year internships. She takes pride in having supported multiple interns who have since been hired within the district.

Gocke shares some personal favorites: her mom’s green chile enchiladas as her favorite food; "Friday Night Lights" as her favorite TV show; "Remember the Titans" and "27 Dresses" as top movie picks; Denver Broncos and Nuggets are her favored sports teams; soccer being a former sport she played; audiobooks, especially thrillers like "First Lie Wins," currently occupy her listening time; Kristin Hannah ranks as her favorite author for historical fiction; she wishes for teleportation as a superpower and enjoys traveling—having visited 36 states with an aim to see all 50.

She draws inspiration from Heidi Weekley, Executive Director of Integrated Services: “At work, I’m most inspired by Heidi Weekley. ” Gocke credits Weekley’s mentorship during early years for shaping how she leads, advocates for students today. “Heidi leads with integrity, empathy, and a deep commitment to equity—and I continue to learn from her every day. ”

Reflecting on what WPS means to her, Gocke says: “Westminster feels like family. It’s about community, teamwork, and coming together for the betterment of our students. I really value the relationships I’ve built with students and their families over the years—and being here long-term means I get to see those relationships grow. It’s such a special thing. ”
