"Good Evening Oak Crest Elementary School Families,
I am reaching out this evening to inform you that we will have to close Oak Crest Elementary School on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 because I cannot safely staff the building. No other school in the District is closing, ONLY Oak Crest due to our inability to find enough substitutes to support over sixty staff absences.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience I know this causes our families, however, I have exhausted every option possible. Oak Crest will reopen on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 for normal school hours.
