Dr. Hector Garcia, Superintendent | Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181
The D181 community, in partnership with the Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, and Burr Ridge Police Departments, recently held its annual "Stuff the Squad" event. Staff, students, and families across the district participated on their school's designated date to donate food and supplies, filling police squad cars with items for HCS Family Services.
Officers from the local police departments were present at each school to collect donations and deliver them directly to HCS Family Services. Community members also joined in the effort.
The collective D181 community donated a total of 2,726 pounds of food and supplies this year.
