**Article: School announcements: cap & gown distribution, prom details, and volunteer opportunities**
On April 28, 2025, several important announcements were made for students.
Seniors are reminded that on Wednesday, May 30th, Herff Jones will bepresent to distribute cap and gowns during all lunch hours from 10:45 - 1:15.
Pick-up will take place in the West Hall of Values just outside of theCommons.
Students planning to attend prom must submit all guest forms to studentservices by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 30th. The guest's ID mustbe stapled to the signed form. Forms can be picked up in student services orthe general office.
Prom tickets will be available for sale at all lunches starting Tuesdaythrough Thursday, April 29th-May 1st. Tickets can be purchased from Ellen'sstore in the cafeteria at a cost of $20.00 for singles and $40.00 for couples.Prices at the door will increase to $25.00 for singles and $50.00 for couples.Students must be Juniors or Seniors or attending with a Junior or Senior toattend prom.
Volunteers are needed for iCan Bike Camp taking place June 9th-13th.Interested students should stop by Mrs. Sanders-Colgan's room (172N) for moreinformation.
UTMP Percussion Placements begin April 30th with sessions held Wednesdaynights from 6 pm -8 pm in the UT Band Room under Mr. Joe Angelo and Mr. PetePhilhower's supervision.
Club announcements include:
- Student Council executive board applications are due by Tuesday, April 29thto Mrs. Colgan in room 172N.
- UTHS FCA meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, April 29th at 7:20 am in thegirls' gym.
- "Gamer's Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in room 149N. "
The football team is seeking managers for the 2025 season with skills infilming, technology, athletic training assistance, statistics analysis amongothers. An informational meeting will be held in Coach Welch's room (109s) onTuesday, April 29th with two options: Morning Meeting (7:30 AM - 7:50 AM) andAfternoon Meeting (3:10 PM - 3:30 PM). Those unable to attend should contactCoach Welch directly.
