Families from across District 45 gathered at North Elementary School on April District 45 Art Show. The school’s gym was transformed into a vibrant gallery space, featuring a diverse collection of artwork created by students from throughout the district.

Superintendent Dr. Tony Sanders commented on the importance of art education, saying, “Art is an essential part of a well-rounded education. ” He praised the students and teachers for their hard work and creativity.

The event showcased various forms of art, including paintings, sculptures, and digital art pieces. Each school in the district was represented, highlighting the broad range of talent among students.

Art teacher Ms. Emily Rivera expressed her pride in her students’ accomplishments: “Our students have worked incredibly hard this year. ” She also acknowledged her fellow teachers for their collaborative efforts in making the show possible.

The PTA Council played a significant role in supporting the event by providing refreshments for attendees. President Sarah Kim said, “It’s wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate our children’s achievements. ”

This year’s art show reinforced District 45’s commitment to fostering creative expression among its students while bringing together families and community members to celebrate their achievements.
