CLUBS:

"The speech team is preparing for the 2025-2026 season, and we are looking for future sophomores, juniors, and seniors to join us! IHSA competitive speech focuses on building a variety of public speaking skills. Competitors prepare original or scripted pieces and develop them over the season after receiving feedback from coaches and judges. Speech team is not solely about traditional speeches. We also offer events in acting, script writing, poetry and prose interpretation, radio speaking, political arguments, and so much more. There is something for everyone!
