Kindergarten orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at 8820 Scott School Rd. Parents are encouraged to bring school supplies and make arrangements for siblings.

Parents are advised to label only scissors, extra clothes, and headphones. "Headphones are listed on the supply list and Mrs. Martin recommends investing in a good pair," the announcement states. It adds that "the headphones will be needed through each grade so if you purchase cheap ones, you will most likely have to replace them every year."
