At a recent Committee of the Whole meeting, staff provided an update on the progress of the 2023–2026 Strategic Plan. The plan focuses on six key areas: Fiscal Sustainability, Well-Maintained Infrastructure, Effective Communication, a Stable and Well-Trained Workforce, a Safe Community, and Lifestyle Vitality. According to the update, several initiatives under these priorities have been completed, while work is ongoing for other action items that guide daily operations.
