Tre Benjamin’s Butler Bulldogs drop 14-8 NCAA Division I baseball game to Wichita State

At 3:05 p.m. on Friday, March 13, former Mundelein High School standout Tre Benjamin and the Butler Bulldogs were defeated 14-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wichita State Shockers.

The matchup was held at Eck Stadium and marked the second time these teams have faced each other this season. In the previous game on Thursday, March 12, the Bulldogs fell 27-3 to the Shockers.

Benjamin gave up five earned runs in 1.2 innings and issued four walks.

The Bulldogs’ next contest is set for Saturday, March 14, at 1:05 p.m. at Eck Stadium versus Wichita State.
