TrueNorth is hosting three family-oriented programs this January as part of its Family University Series. The first event, “Ready or Not, Here it Comes: A Transition to Adulthood Primer for Parents,” will be held on January 8 at 7 p.m. in collaboration with the Arc of Illinois. This session aims to prepare parents for their children’s transition into adulthood.

On January 15 at 7 p.m., the program “Unlocking the Power of Play: Becoming a Play Partner” will take place. The final event, “De-escalating Challenging Behaviors for Parents and Caregivers,” is scheduled for January 29 at 6:30 p.m.

These events are part of TrueNorth’s efforts to support families through educational programs. Deerfield Public Schools District 109 is involved in these initiatives.
