On Saturday, Feb. 28, Peyton Murphy, a former Libertyville High School standout, helped her current college team, the UW-Platteville Pioneers, secure a 7-4 victory in their NCAA Division III softball contest against the St. Olaf Oles.
The matchup was held at Rochester Dome and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
The Pioneers are set to play again on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8:10 p.m. at Rochester Dome, where they will face the Northwestern – St. Paul Eagles.
