The Vernon Hills Queens announced on Mar. 13 that applications are now open for the 2026 Vernon Hills Pageant, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 20 at the Sullivan Center.

The annual pageant offers an opportunity for community members to participate and represent Vernon Hills. Organizers say that online applications are available through The Vernon Hills Pageant website and must be submitted by May 29 at 5 p.m.

This year’s announcement also included recognition of outgoing titleholders. Ximena Anda, who served as Little Miss Vernon Hills 2025 and Little Miss Lake County 2026; Kate Anderson, Junior Miss Vernon Hills 2025; and Victoria Burda, Miss Vernon Hills 2025 and first runner up to Miss Lake County 2026, were thanked for their service as goodwill ambassadors over the past year.

The event aims to continue a tradition of community involvement and celebration in Vernon Hills. Further details about the application process can be found on the official pageant website.

Organizers encourage interested participants to apply before the deadline.
