The organizers of the foam drop-off and recycling program announced on Mar. 5 that they are seeking volunteers to help restart the initiative in April. The program, which has been described as very popular, will resume operations with the support of community members willing to assist on Saturday mornings.

The need for volunteers is important because the program relies on local participation to function smoothly. Organizers said no prior experience is required, making it accessible for anyone interested in contributing a few hours of their time.

The drop-off site will be open on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., according to the announcement. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up online for any available Saturday shift.

“We need your help in restarting the very popular foam drop-off and recycling program in April. Would you please consider helping a few hours on a Saturday morning?” organizers said in their statement.

Those interested can easily register through an online sign-up form provided by the organizers. The effort aims to ensure that foam recycling services continue to be available for residents who rely on them.
