Webster Elementary has been recognized with an Exemplary designation on the 2025 Illinois Report Card. Staff members marked the occasion with a celebration at the school.
Principal Alison Schumacher, who is currently on extended leave, participated in the event remotely via Google Meets. During her remarks, she expressed appreciation for the staff’s dedication. “She thanked everyone for their many efforts to increase student performance.”
For the 2024-25 academic year, Webster Elementary ranked in the top 10 percent of schools across Illinois and reported no underperforming student groups. The school’s progress in English language arts and math on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness was notably higher than state averages.
