Former Libertyville High School standout Hayden Koonce and his college team, the Wilmington Quakers, suffered a 13-2 defeat to the Franklin Grizzlies in their NCAA Division III baseball contest held Wednesday, March 11.
The teams faced off at Tewksbury-Delaney Field, marking their first meeting of the season.
The Quakers are set to play their next game on Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Tewksbury-Delaney Field, where they will host the Oberlin Yeomen.
