Woodland D50 seeks applicants for board vacancies after resignations

Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 is seeking candidates to fill two open positions on its Board of Education following the resignations of Amy Sabor and Michael Senol. The selected individuals will serve until the April 2027 consolidated election.

The district, which serves Lake County and includes Woodland Elementary School, Woodland Intermediate School, Woodland Middle School, and Woodland Primary School, has invited interested applicants to submit letters of interest and applications. According to data from the Illinois State Board of Education, Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 employs 399 teachers with an average salary of $69,342.
