On October 12, Dr. Robert Machak, Superintendent of Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50, addressed families with an update on district news and upcoming events. In his message, he encouraged families to access the latest information through the district’s newsletter, available in multiple languages via Google Translate.

The newsletter highlights several topics including a message from the superintendent, important dates and PTA events, an upcoming Parent University session titled “Three Myths that Undermine our Parenting” scheduled for November 6, a Veterans Day invitation, and a request for help with Marcel’s Eagle Scout Project. Additional items include Saturday Study Hall & Homework Help sessions, a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at WNPL on October 21, an Attendance Awareness Poster Contest, and information about the Virtual Backpack.
