Two sports for adults will begin soon in the Buffalo Grove Park District, according to bgparks.org.
Men's informal basketball, which consists of pickup games, will run from 8-10 a.m. Sundays Dec. 4-Feb. 26 at Prairie Elementary School, 1530 Brandywyn Lane, and 6-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Tuesdays from Dec. 6-Feb. 28 at Cooper Middle School, 1050 W. Plum Grove Road. Costs are $55 per resident and $69 per nonresident. Each participant should bring a white shirt and a dark shirt. No games will be played Dec. 25 and 27 and Jan. 1 and 3. Cost is $55 for residents, $69 for nonresidents.
Co-rec volleyball will take place from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays from Dec. 5-Feb. 27 at Cooper Middle School. Cost is $55 and $69. No games will take place on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
All of the above sports are for participants ages 18 and older.
