State House race: Democrat Yingling wins voter tally in Avon Township Precinct 38

Sam Yingling led Republican Ken Idstein in votes cast in Avon Township Precinct 38 for the District 62 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 18.3 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Sam Yingling, won by a margin of 14 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Rod Drobinski, who received 194 votes to Yingling's 257.
