The Lake Forest City Council's Finance Committee will hold a Capital Budget Workshop 5-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, at the Municipal Services Building, 800 N. Field Drive. to discuss the future of the Deerpath Golf Course.
The city has been wrestling with how to keep the golf course financially stable for several years as course memberships decline.
The golf course currently depends on city funds to balance its budget and on KemperSports, a third-party management company, to manage the golf course.
