Lake County's Board of Health convenes at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at 3010 Grand Ave., Waukegan, to tackle disease prevention and oversee the public’s well-being.
After the call to order, Pledge and approval of meeting minutes from Nov. 18, 2015, the floor will open for public comment.
Awards, recognitions, appointments and renewal of appointments will follow.
Two presentations are scheduled: an IPLAN update (Pfister) and a summary of an employee engagement survey (Nordstrom).
Following the president’s report, scheduled action items include four primary care services grant awards (Beltran).
Discussion items on the agenda consist of Hantavirus in Lake County (Pfister).
Attachments for board review include a compliance program update and media coverage summary (Nordstrom).
The Lake County Community Health Center Governing Council and Tuberculosis Board will provide updates, after which any items added to the agenda will be addressed.
Old and new business will be followed by an executive session and adjournment.
