Creating a community garden for Lindenhurst is now on the table, thanks to the Lindenhurst Environmental Commission, which is currently seeking official feedback on the idea from local residents with an online survey.
By collecting survey results, the Environmental Commission hopes to assess the degree of interest and enthusiasm among citizens. To determine community interest in a potential community garden, readers are asked to click on the following link to participate in the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2TMKXL9.
The eight-question, multiple-choice survey is simple and promises to take no more than a few minutes. It asks constituents how they feel about a community garden in Lindenhurst; what size, space and type of plants they wish to cultivate; how much time they foresee devoting to such a project; their overall vision for the idea; and how they would like to be involved.
The Commission looks forward to the results. Any citizens with questions may contact Village Hall at 847-356-8252.
