All prospective bidders for Highland Park’s 2016 Port Clinton paver drainage program are advised of a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. April 7 at Port Clinton Plaza.
Bid packages may be obtained at no cost from the Public Works Department at 1150 Half Day Road, and proposals must be submitted by 11 a.m. April 21, sealed and accompanied by the proper paperwork. All submitted bids will be made public.
The Department of Public Works reminds vendors that each bid must be submitted with an original ink signature on the proper forms, together with a cashier’s check or certified check for the amount specified in the “Contract Bid Security Limits” section of the bid documents. Bid bonds will not be accepted.
The project includes the removal of existing pavers, removal of base materials, installation of the drainage system and placement of new pavers along with all associated restoration.
Port Clinton Plaza is located at the southeast corner of 2nd Street and Central Avenue. Potential bidders may contact Assistant Superintendent Linda Ramsey at 847-926-1152 or Contract Specialist Lisa Roberts at 847-926-1189 with questions.
