Focused first and foremost on the fate of a local mansion, Lake Villa officials gathered 7 p.m. Tuesday to conduct their regular meeting at Village Hall.
Following the approval of previous meeting minutes from Feb. 24 and March 2, the board opened the floor for a public comment session for any citizens desiring to bring up topics of concern or questions for board members.
In a previous meeting on Feb. 10, Trustee Kevin Kruckeberg presented an authorization to execute a contract for mansion pergola design services with 3D Design in the amount of $9,885.00. 3D Design is a firm based in Grayslake specializing in landscape architecture; streetscapes; and academic, municipal, master planning and grant-based projects.
Trustees reviewed information pertaining to a tax increment financing district public hearing and a joint review board meeting. Additionally, the agenda covered organizational goals for 2016-2017.
