Lake Forest Preservation Commission considers demolition requests

Meeting 10

At a recent meeting, the Lake Forest Historic Preservation Commission considered several requests for Certificates of Appropriateness for demolitions or building alterations.

Made up of seven Lake Forest residents, the commission is responsible for preserving historic buildings, gardens and streetscapes as well as the overall historic character of the community.

Below is the agenda for this meeting, as provided by the commission.

1. Introduction of Commissioners and staff, overview of meeting procedures – Chairman

Grieve.

2. Recognition of former Chairman James Preschlack and former Commissioner John

Travers.

3. Consideration of the minutes from the May 25, 2016 and June 2, 2016 meetings.

4. Continued consideration of a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for alterations

and additions to the existing residence located at 540 Pine Lane.
