Team-tryout dates for fall sports at College of Lake County have been announced, according to the school's athletic website.
Here are the sports with tryouts and their dates:
MEN'S SOCCER
Open to current and prospective students who tun in physical exams prior to participating, tryouts will run from 2-3 p.m. Monday, July 25, at the CLC soccer field.
VOLLEYBALL
Tryouts are from 6:45-8:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the Round Lake Park District. Participants have to have turned in a valid physical exam before taking part. Volleyball tryouts are open to any current and prospective students.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
A preseason meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the CLC practice field along Washington Street.
Tryouts will be from Aug. 1-5, with times to be announced, at the CLS soccer field. Participants have to enroll as a full-time CLC student and complete all necessary paperwork, including a valid physical.
MEN'S GOLF
Tryouts are at 1:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday, Aug. 18-19, at Bittersweet Golf Club, 875 Almond Road in Gurnee. All participants must be full-time CLC students and have completed all eligibility paperwork, including a valid physical.
BASEBALL
Tryouts are set for 1-3 p.m., Monday-Tuesday, Aug. 22-23, at the Gene D. Hanson Baseball Field. Any prospective or current student can participate, although a valid physical must be completed ahead of time.
