Friends for Gerald Witter owes $1,675 in fines

The campaign committee Friends for Gerald Witter owes a $50 fine imposed on Aug. 28, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $1,625 with Madonna Witter listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 20 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $88,517.30 in pending fines.
