Big Hollow School District #38 Special Board of Education met June 1.

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

1. Call to Order: The special meeting of the Board of Education was called to order at 6:00

p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Big Hollow School Library.

Roll Call: The following members were in attendance: Vivian Kueter, Kevin Lyons, Julia

Mazur, Doug Pedersen, Tiffany Enters, Lauren Plescia, Joe Cernuska (arrived at 6:15 p.m.)

The following members were absent: None

The following Administration were present: Robert Gold

2. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited

3. Discussion on the revision of the Superintendent evaluation plan and goals

Several examples of superintendent evaluation plans were reviewed by the Board. An

agreement on content and format was reached. Mr. Gold was directed to create the new

document with the desired content. The five strategic plan goals will be added to the

performance contract for Mr. Gold, and the strategic action plan will be utilized as

performance indicators. The Board will be including additional strategic action plan

items prior to the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.

The Board also directed Mr. Gold to update the Board goals online.

4. Public Comment

There were no public comments at this time.

5. Adjournment

A motion was made by Kueter and seconded by Mazur to adjourn the meeting at 7:00

pm. Motion carried.
