The calls in Grayslake included 52 fires - 19 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 24 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $131,735 in fire loss - or about $2,533 per fire.
The department also received 385 false calls, including six malicious calls and 379 other false calls.
Three fire service member were injured in non fire-related incidents.
The Grayslake FPD Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 31 active employees and 10 retired or inactive employees, was $815,969 in debt as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $15,692 for every fire in 2016.
