Village of Lake Villa Village Board met Nov. 29.

CALL TO ORDER: The Special Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Lake Villa was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on November 29, 2017 at the Lake Villa Village Hall.
SALUTE THE FLAG: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor McDonald.
ROLL CALL: Roll call indicated the following present: Mayor McDonald, Clerk Konrad;
Trustees Bartlett, Barbato, Harms, Kruckeberg, O’Reilly, and Nielsen. All in attendance was Village Administrator Warwick and Finance Director Heitman
Tax Levy Determination: It was moved by Trustee Bartlett and seconded by Trustee Harms to approve a tax levy determination in the amount of $2,287,106.
ROLL CALL VOTE WAS:
AYES: 4 (Bartlett, Barbato, Harms, O’Reilly)
NAYS: 2 (Kruckeberg, Nielsen)
ABSENT: 0
ABSTAIN: 0 MOTION CARRIED
PUBLIC COMMENT: Comment was made by a resident against any tax increasing voicing hardship in current tax levels.
ADJOURNMENT: It was moved by Trustee Harms and seconded by Trustee Barbato to adjourn the special meeting of the Village Board at 7:53 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE WAS: AYES: 6 MOTION CARRIED
