Motion to approve a request, as required in the Travel Policy, for respective staff within the Police department to attend the 2018 annual ILLEETA Conference in St. Louis, MO with a total cost not to exceed $2,500.00 from March 19th through March 24th. Funds for this travel request will come from line item# 100 607524431.
B. Motion to approve a request, as required in the Travel Policy, for respective staff within the Police department to travel to Los Angeles, CA from January 5th through January 6, 2018 for a homicide arrest interview. Funds for this travel request will come from line item# 100 607524431.

4. Reports & Communications
A. Update on the Collective Bargaining Agreement discussions made between the Metropolitan Alliance of Police (MAP) Waukegan Police Sergeant’s Chapter #285 and the City of Waukegan with a proposed effective period of May 1, 2016 through April 30, 2018.
B. International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local #473 has made a request to bargain. The first meeting is scheduled for January 25, 2018.
