Benton Township Board of Trustees met January 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

1. Call To Order

Clerk Bronson called the meeting to order at 6:15pm. A total of 16 residents signed in for this special meeting.

2. Pledge Of Allegiance To The Flag

Clerk Bronson led the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Reading Of The Legal Notice:

Clerk Bronson read the published legal notice.

4. Election Of Moderator

Clerk Bronson asked for nominations from the floor for a moderator. John Hucker nominated Larry Booth. Charlie Ginn seconded the motion. Having no more nominations from the floor, Mr. Booth accepted the nomination as moderator. Clerk Bronson administered the Moderator oath to Larry Booth.

5. Approval Of Agenda:

Moderator Booth presented the agenda for approval. It was motioned by Jennifer Litewski and seconded by John Hucker to approve the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried.

6. Resolution No: 01-18: Authorizing the Conveyance of Land for Highway Purposes Moderator Booth presented Resolution No. 01-18 for consideration. Moderator Booth stated that Lake County needs a small section of the Township's property in its efforts to widened Green Bay Road. It was motioned by Charlie Ginn and seconded by Karen Ginn to approve the resolution as presented. All in favor. Motion passes.

7. Adjournment:

It was motioned by John Hucker and seconded by Jennifer Litewski to adjourn the meeting. All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 6:22 pm.
