After a productive question & answer period, the Board agreed this would be a worthwhile program for the citizens of Warren Township and support its availability. The motion was approved unanimously by roll call vote.

C. Resolutions NO.2018-R-13 & NO. 2018-R-14, Resolution Of The Warren Township Board Of Trustees Authorizing ALICE Training. Administrator Johnson briefed the Board about the ALICE Training Institute who has developed the ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) Training Program to provide organizations on how to proactively handle the threat of an active intruder or active shooter event. The Board believes it is in the best interests of the citizens of Warren Township to provide such training to its employees to best insure appropriate responses are taken in the event of an aggressive intruder or active shooter event. After some discussion, several questions arose concerning number of training participants both singular and/or and group sessions. It was decided to postpone the vote on the referendums until the March 26 Board meeting.
