Analysis: Lakemoor pays $0 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lakemoor Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 0 percent of the $78,853 the Lakemoor Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $0 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lakemoor contributed $0 to the fund, which saw a $184,129 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $78,052, or 99 percent, in 2016. Another $801 came from other unspecified sources.
