Analysis: Lincolnshire pays $3.95 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnshire Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.9 percent of the $1,042,380 the Lincolnshire Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.95 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnshire contributed $833,131 to the fund, which saw a $219,750 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $210,892, or 20.2 percent, in 2016.
