Analysis: Lincolnshire pays $3.95 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnshire-Riverwood Fpd Firefighters Pension Fu

Taxpayers contributed 79.5 percent of the $1,787,754 the Lincolnshire-Riverwood Fpd Firefighters Pension Fu brought in last year, or $3.95 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnshire contributed $1,420,456 to the fund, which saw a $35,809 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $359,395, or 20.1 percent, in 2016. Another $7,903 came from other unspecified sources.
