Analysis: Round Lake Beach pays $3.03 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Round Lake Beach Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.2 percent of the $1,271,682 the Round Lake Beach Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.03 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Round Lake Beach contributed $956,749 to the fund, which saw a $20,691 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $314,933, or 24.8 percent, in 2016.
