Village of Wauconda Board of Police Commissioners met May 1.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
1. Call To Order
Chairman Sode called the meeting to order at 2:45 p.m.
Present: Commissioners Altmann and Barbini
Others in attendance: Chief Wermes, Deputy Chief Botterman, Sergeant Combs and Detective Kolar.
2. Public Comment
There were no public comments.
3. Approval Of Minutes
Chairman Sode moved to approve the minutes of the April 17, 2018 Wauconda Board of Police Commissioners Special Meeting. Commissioner Altmann seconded the motion.
All ayes.
Motion Carried
4. Pending Business
A. Election of Officers.
Jeff Sode was nominated as Chairman, John Barbini was nominated as Secretary and Joe Altmann as Commissioner.
All ayes.
Nominations Accepted And Approved
B. Oral Interviews.
5. Executive Session
Chairman Sode moved to enter into executive session at 3:36 p.m. Commissioner Altmann seconded the motion.
All ayes.

6. Return To Open Session
Chairman Sode moved to return to open session at 4:34 p.m. Commissioner Altman seconded the motion.
All ayes.
Motion Carried
7. New Business
There was no new business.
8. Adjournment
With no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Sode moved to adjourn. Commissioner Altmann seconded the motion.
All ayes.
