Vernon Hills Park District issued the following announcement on June 21.
The Park District is seeking volunteers to assist with litter clean-up in Century Park on July 5.
Please meet at the Century Park Boat Dock Shelter, 1001 Lakeview Parkway, at 9:30 am.
You will be provided with with litter pickers, buckets, and trash bags.
The clean-up will end at 11:30 am.
