Village of Gurnee issued the following announcement on July 11.
There is a new farmers market coming to Gurnee: The East Grand Farmers & Artisans Market! This event will be held on the third Sunday of every month from July through October, beginning this Sunday, July 15th from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Market will be located near the intersection of Belle Plaine & Grand Avenue, in the Salvation Army Parking Lot (3559 Grand Avenue, Gurnee, IL 60031).
The East Grand Farmers & Artisans Market will feature over 30 vendors offering a large variety of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, meats, baked goods, handmade crafts and more. Alongside these great offerings, the Market will also include children’s entertainment, food vendors and the Gurnee Police Department will be providing free child safety seat inspections.
