Joyce Mason of the Democratic party has been declared the winner in the House District 61 race against Republican candidate Sheri Jesiel.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Mason had 51 percent of the vote with a total of 19,491 votes.
Jesiel received 49 percent of the vote with a total of 18,375 votes.
