Fifteen students from New Trier High School recently completed a ten-day educational trip to France, accompanied by their French teachers, Madame Pasquini and Madame Salisbury. The group visited several notable locations in the South of France and Paris.

The journey began in Aix-en-Provence, where students explored local markets and historical sites associated with the artist Cézanne. The itinerary included visits to Marseille, Arles, and Avignon. In these cities, students engaged with local culture, admired art related to Cézanne and van Gogh, and viewed Roman ruins and the Popes’ Palace.

A significant part of the trip was a four-day homestay that allowed students to experience French daily life firsthand. The visit concluded with a high-speed train ride to Paris.

The experience aimed to enhance language skills and cultural understanding for the participating students.
