McConchie wins Senate District 26 race

Republican Dan McConchie has won the Illinois State Senate race against Democrat Tom Georges.

With 96 percent of the precincts reporting, McConchie had 56 percent of the vote with a total of 46,464 votes.

Georges received 44 percent of the vote with a total of 37,069 votes.
