Sheri Jesiel led Democrat Joyce Mason in votes cast in Antioch Township Precinct 9 for the District 61 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Jesiel appeared to outpace Mason by a margin of 6.6 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Sheri Jesiel, won by a margin of 26.2 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Loren Karner, who received 196 votes to Jesiel's 335.
