Report: Lake Zurich spent $14,238 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 is up 13.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $12,560 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,238 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 5849 to 5693.

Lake Zurich's spending in 2017-18 was 6.8 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
