Aptakisic Tripp Community Consolidated School District 102 issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.
Congratulations to the more than 130 Aptakisic orchestra, band, and chorus students who participated in the Illinois Grade School Music Association Solo and Ensemble Contest on February 2 at School District 46 in Round Lake.
Students prepared a piece of music, performed it for a judge, and received feedback.
The process of preparing and participating in this contest provided an opportunity to grow as a musician.
