Highland Park home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Highland Park fell by $100,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 39 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $490,000 - a 16.9% decrease over the $590,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in Highland Park in April 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Highland Park for 2017 was $12,813.23. In 2016, the median sales tax was $12,453.50. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
