Gages Lake home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Gages Lake rose by $31,450 while total sales decreased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 84 homes sold, with a median sale price of $203,500 - a 18.3% increase over the $172,051 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Gages Lake in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Gages Lake for 2017 was $5,193. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,144. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
